Is anyone using a FJR1300 rar wheel on their first gen Vmax and what mods or spacers were needed for the installation.

The differential is different. Axle diameter is probably different as well. I'm sure it could be made to work but very difficult.

Is there a stock Yamaha 3 spoke shaft drive 17" rear wheel that will work on a first gen Vmax with minimal mods??

Negative. Your cheapest option is a Kosman conversion. He cuts out a stock Vmax hub and welds on a 17" hoop. Looks close to stock when finished. There are some 3 spoke sportbike conversions out there as well but it's a similar mod.

I have a Kosman rear wheel. not fond of the looks . The front is a RC components 3 spoke Marshall. I was hoping to find a matching rear wheel but they have been discontinued. I heard there is a Suzuki GSXR wheel that someone modifies to shaft drive for the Vmax. I wouldn't mind having more infomormation on that.
