I've just installed a new /used Corbin seat on my '85 and I was wondering how other members manage to fuel up. I found it difficult to get the ignition key into the locking gas cap and removing it from the small opening provided in the seat. And; how do you avoid dripping fuel all over the seat when withdrawing the nozzle! There must be someone who has come up w/ a better system. Please let me know.

did u say it was used?corbin changed the design of that area of the seat, but i"m not sure when it was changed.i bought mine new in 07.i have no problems with mine.try twisting the fuel nozzle upward before removing it from the seat opening, that should help you from dripping fuel on seat.

This is from an early edition of the VBoost magazine....

I have been living with, and loving, this mod for over a decade!

Gassing up is a breeze and my ass stays nice and comfy on my Corbin saddle!
