Can't deal with my temp redlining in stop -and- go traffic during the summer heat. Definitely installing a fan switch. Which is better? The internally mounted kind that replaces the stock model & automatically kicks on 20 degrees sooner so you never reach redline temps, or the handlebar mounted switch that the rider activates manually? Thanks for any input.

I installed the unit that replaces the factory one & am very happy with it! I find that it works reliably and is hassle-free. I don't need to pay it any attention...it just works! Shipping was fast and the install was super easy.
