I have a 1996 Vmax that I would like to sell. I would prefer to sell the whole bike, 7000, so will not part out right away. Feel free to PM me if you have any questions discuss parts, in the event the bike doesn't sell.
All the following upgrades have been done less than 6000 miles ago; however, the job itself was done a number of years ago. This was a complete tear down, so the bike has a lot of new parts. Business’s that performed work or supplied the parts are listed for you. Aesthetics: Paint: Lava here in State College, PA(metallic gray with black racing stripes) Seats: Sportmax front, middle, and rear seatwork Aluminum neck covers, gauge cover, rear wheel dust cover: Cozadcomponents Flanders 31” drag bars Sissy bar: Rice Paddy Handle bar end mirrors: superbikestore_llc Motrax LED aluminum turn signals: www.cyclegear.com LED brake light: Dennis Kirk Scoops: Taylor-made 1985 side panels: Sportmax Rear fender: Python motorsports trimmed it Samco silicone hose kit: Motoboutique Brushed aluminum side license plate mount: Motoboutique Dirt bike grips: progrip 737 Engine guards Heavier ground cable: vmaxbitz New wiring harness: Yamaha New Coils: Yamaha Aluminum key guard: vmaxbitz Yamaha emblem frame inserts: precision custom Handling: Works fork springs - PCW Works rear springs -PCW Superbrace fork brace - PCW Dow’d frame for less flex - PCW Reinforced swing arm - Dale Walker Furbur fix Solid motor mounts - PCW Thermostat with lower temp to kick on sooner Sportshaft: Sportmax twice as thick Clutch upgrade: PCW Brake: Galpher “greenie” brake pads: www.cyclebrakes.com Galpher Steel Braided Lines w/ “smoked” plastic coating for protection: www.cyclebrakes.com Nissin brake and clutch master cylinders: Dennis Kirk Engine: 1500cc with 12:1 compression – PCW Wild Bros. EFI .380 cam and .25 off head Oil pressure gauge - www.cycleoneoff.com Exhaust: HMF full exhaust system - Sportmax (not sure of how to describe it other than just awesome) Parts that were powder coated (mirror black): Frame, aluminum neck covers, gauge cover, side mount license plate cover, fork brace, lower forks, handle bar, swing arm, engine guards, fork brackets Polished parts: Rear drive, grab rail, sissy bar, turn signals, handlebar holder, crown, headlight stay This list was put together shortly after it was all done; however, since this was done a Wild Bros. EFI was added, Battery box cut to accept the Gold Wing battery and COPS installed, in place of coils. The bike does not currently run, after buying a bad set of COPS from Ebay, I found that I really have just lost interest. Regardless, lots of great parts and a lot of time/money in the bike. The pics still show the old carb setup on it, so if your interested in the EFI, I will certainly provide you with the pics. If the bike doesn't sell, I will break the bike down into: Motor, Chassis, Body Tins, Exhaust, EFI.

The bike has started to be broken down. I have started listing the items on Ebay. Body panels, exhaust, and sissy bar are the first to go. The motor, efi, and chassis will follow. I prefer not to break it down more than those groups.
