TO VBOOST OR NOT TO VBOOST?



Many people have expressed interests in the VBOOST magazine. We would like to hear from YOU, the vmax owners, if you would have interests of bringing the VBOOST magazine back alive as an online readers edition for a small annual subscription price for a minimal online publication of twice per year?


Please let us know, by responding to this listing, if you would be interested. If not enough interests arises, then this will not move forward.

Not Online Edition! Let's get it back in print! That was the best way to show/tell people about the VMOA. I remember handing out my latest edition (after I read it) to people I met that were riding vmax motorcycles but had not heard of VMOA. If it means $25 - $35 membership fees, that is still fine. People who pay for membership tend to participate more.

unfortunately, going back to print is cost prohibited and we cannot afford to do that again. We would need economies of scale to afford this with the cost of printing and USPS mailing the print out it just is not feasible! I too love the printed version, but its just not possible anymore. Most groups have gone to online publications and thats how we will have to do it too if we want to make it happen. Even to think of going back to print would mean we would need well over 1000 subscriptions to even make it feasible of which I doubt the support would be there anyhow.

Yes,printed all the way.May not be an option,but it's got my vote.I work 12 hr shifts and don't have internet at work and with 2 young kids at home not much time there for digital format.At least with the printed version I could read it on my break and lunch.

Is this coincidence or what? I've just spent the past week in the evenings reading the past editions of the Vboost Mags.
Beats watching that square box with all the lifestyle and cooking shows they have here in Sydney Australia at the moment.
I had some issues with getting the PDF format to load into Internet Explorer but got there in the end.
Question? I read sometime ago in the older format Tech Tips about a guy who set up a fuel gauge for the Vmax. Would it be possible to get a reprint of this?
I remember the Mod being titled " A fuel gauge that actually works", sorry I don't know who posted it. The tech tips and modifications are great and I've printed some off from the Vboost Mags. In particular " Contouring the stock seat for comfort".
I'll be doing this in coming weeks on the trike.
With regard to bringing back Vboost mag I can understand the prohibitive cost of printing these days. However, like Richard (515983) I would be more than happy to pay subscription the same as anyone who is interested enough.
Here's a suggestion: How about bringing back the Tech Tips in a more comprehensive format, inclusive of detailed pictures???
I was thinking of doing a write up ( with pictures) of my Vmax Trike Build and run it over a number of weeks if that's O/K with you Michael (Webmaster)
Would anyone be interested in this?

I love the idea! I know that a simple search will reveal tons of articles and tips. However, I find that when I'm getting information from a forum (and the people involved) such as this, I feel that I can trust what's being shared. Maybe I'm being naive, but I think that someone that is taking the time to work on an article that gets released here is from a genuine & experienced VMax enthusiast.

This is an oldie and I fear the idea has fizzled out. I miss the V-boost in print. I looked forward to it coming in the mail. I'd pay to subscribe if it could get off the ground again. I've contributed to the V-boost in the past with pics from events.

So would I. I didnt have a Vmax in the beginning of Vboost, but I did catch up, and some amazing articles, and some amazing guys.

I'm all for it. Revive the Vboost Magazine & revive the forums as well.
