Do the frame braces sold by Dale Walker and others really improve the wobble? I am looking for the most economical way to improve this, my '97 would come unglued on sweeping turns over 65-70 mph.

To be honest, frame braces will not do the job. If you haven't upgraded your front fork sprints yet, that's what you should be doing. The stock arent worth a dime and I highly recommend replacing them. Another thing to do is the following items:

Furbur Fix:

Steering head bearing check:

These alone will fix your issues.

Happy riding....

Thank you, tightening the steering head bearings I am sure will make a big difference. Kind of obvious in hind sight. Which way do you prefer, switching the order or just tightening the bottom nut.

I personally just replaced my front fork springs with Progressive springs and then did the adjustment on the steering head bearing. You can do the furbur fix, but I didnt find it necessary on my setup. I have used it prior and it does work too, but again you need aftermarket fork springs..
