Father Ed Britko (80) just had a massive stroke Tuesday night and is in hospice. Ed was with me in the early days of the VMOA in the northeast NH region and also attended Thunder in the Valley. He would get me up on Sundays to go on a short morning ride.. typically 400 miles! A very bright, gracious person and although he was known as Father Ed he is surely not of the cloth. Ed owned both Gen1 and Gen2 vmaxes in his favorite yellow/black colors, and he dressed just like that too. His daughter gave me the heads up on facebook and it's not looking good for Ed. Hey Chromie,
Thanks for the heads up about Father Ed. I have talked with him on several occasions and he truly was a great guy. Event down to the end when he was trying to sell of his GEN2 awhile back, it surely must of been hard to part with his passion. A truly one of a kind guy. We can only wish him well on pulling through! God Speed......my prayers are for him and his family too.
