is it worth considering.?.I have the 170-80-15 bias rear. .Is the stock rim wide enough for this front tire?.Would it being taller
than stock, and if I put the 110/80-18 on front which is a little shorter
than stock, would the increased disparity in height cause any
handling/stability issues? I often go into triple digits when riding,so,any
stability issues? Thanks

I know it has been done... However, it is of my opinion, that this is a bad, possibly dangerous, thing to do.

There is a huge difference between Bias ply tires and radial tires. The handling characteristics are very different between the two type of tires! Because of this they should never be "Mixed".

If you can't afford a rear wheel, that will fit a radial, just stick to the stock configuration of Bias ply tires up-front & on the rear.

I bought a set of v rated bias ply tires and they are great on my 2006. I use radials on my 2010 .try the v rated Avon's on the Gen 1.
